Caving in Asturias is a very exciting activity discovering the insides of the earth in some of the most singular caves of the Picos de Europa region.
The calcareus terrain of the eastern side of Asturias are a natural paradaise for caving, where there is still many caves and pits to discover and clasify.
We organize guided runs in diferent caves along Asturias councils of Parres, Cangas de Onís, Ribadesella and Cabrales. There is a wide range of possibilities depending on factors like age, number and previews experience in caving of the participants.
For a first contact with caving we recomend La porquera Cave, located in the village of Triongo (Cangas de Onís) where we can have a pleasant incursion in the underground world.
People with some experience in caving can go to La Huelga Cave in Cangas de Onís. It is a cave with an entrance and exit in tow different leves and with an underground river that goes along the journey.
For big groups we offer Pando Cave in Ribadesella. It is a very easy cave with beautiful stalactites and formations. Speally recommended for schools and youth people.
For those who want to pass the day visiting one of the biggest caves in Asturias, we go to Tinganon Cave in Ribadesella. Here is where you feel like an ant walking throuth a massive hole made by a natural river that runs throuth it.
